Event description

This seminar provides you with a thorough introduction to the world of artificial intelligence (AI) in product development. Not only will you learn the key fundamentals, but you will also classify your own organisation using a structured maturity model: Where are you today? Where do you want to go? Which potential can be leveraged most quickly?
The maturity model was developed jointly by the Complexity Management Academy and the WZL at RWTH Aachen University on the basis of extensive studies involving more than 200 participating companies and countless best practice approaches from industry. Building on this, we will work with you in the seminar to analyse success factors, obstacles and development paths using selected best practices from industry and research, so that you can plan your further development in a targeted manner.

Topic areas

  • Basics: What is AI and how does it work in product development? (e.g. data analysis, machine learning, automation)
  • Maturity model: Self-assessment of your organisation/department – determining the status quo
  • Potential analysis: Identification of areas for action, quick wins and strategic stages for AI deployment
