The two-day seminar is dedicated to the principles and strategies of the circular economy and enables you to competently apply the topic in your company. The event begins with an introduction to the basic principles of the circular economy, followed by relevant standards and laws. You will learn what is required of companies and how these requirements can be met in practice. Innovative business models such as ‘Product-as-a-Service’ and the sharing economy are presented that support the circular economy. Furthermore, the focus is on product design that enables reuse or recycling at the end of the life cycle. In the second part, circular production processes are examined in more detail. Approaches such as cradle-to-cradle and zero-waste strategies are discussed in a practical way. Finally, the role of digitalisation, in particular that of the digital product file, is highlighted in order to promote transparency and traceability in circular processes.
Feel free to bring your own approaches and challenges and discuss them in the group. Practical workshops and the exchange with other participants and experts offer additional opportunities for in-depth learning.
